Welcome to

The White Hart

Traditional Village Pub

About us

Friendly family atmosphere

Tucked away in the sleepy Berkshire village of Holyport, the White Hart is a charming traditional English pub oozing with character.  The White Hart prides itself in being at the heart of the local community and focuses on offering delicious fresh food, great choice of real ale and a warm friendly welcome to all.

It’s a pub with two distinct halves; the lovely dark wood panelled lounge / Dining bar displaying pictures of Holyport from years gone by, the perfect place for relaxed dining.  The Public bar; light and airy with wooden floors, bar billiards, television, occasional live music and gentle background music – something for everyone.

The cold winter nights finds a log fire blazing in both bars, the warm summer days and evening brings to life the front beer garden with its comfortable seating and boules pitch. For the families the separate enclosed children’s play garden is a little haven allowing them all to relax and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine.    Ideally located just of the M4 ( Junction 8/9), 1/2 hour from Heathrow, 10 minutes from Windsor, Maidenhead and Legoland, it’s a great destination for a get together.

    Wonderful pub and cracking burger.
Came here today for a roast but ended up outside and substituted fries for roasties with side of gravy and was incredible.
Really friendly staff and great COVID measures in place.

What a lovely place to go to chill out and enjoy the ambiance. Food and and wine of an excellent quality. Given these difficult times l feel so safe at this venue and totally respect the safety measures this pub has put in place. Credit where due would highly recommend. X - 01 Sep 2020

Food & Drink

Real Ales

Great pride is taken in the fact that The White Hart is the only CAMRA and CASK MARQUE recognised pub in the village – we have worked hard to achieve this recognition and intend to retain it by ensuring the quality of Real Ale served is second to none.  Our favourite Greene King IPA is always available, and in addition we have three independent guest ales, one of which is a local brewed Ale Always on tap.

Fresh home cooked food

Whilst we find our feet again after lock-down, we will be serving our fresh, homecooked pub classics in our front garden. Our focus remains on offering wholesome, affordable, quality homemade pub classics. For those still being cautious, we will continue offering the same menu as a take-away.
