Our Food

At The White Hart, our head chef Andy produces a selection of freshly cooked classic dishes from around the world.  Great English classics such as Prawn Cocktail, Fish and Chips, and Baked Gammon sit alongside the Gourmet Burger range, Argentine inspired Chicken Milanesa and many more. 

With some herbs and vegetables being produced in our own back garden, you can’t get much fresher than that. For special occasions we are happy to design a bespoke menu. 

Light lunches are also available with a good range of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and filling omelettes using eggs produced from our free ranging hens in the back garden.  In the colder months (Sep-Apr) we do lovely Sunday roasts alongside a selection of dishes from our main menu

Our dedicated dining area in the lounge bar seats only  16 people, so we strongly recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.  Food is served in the public bar and gardens, however it is subject to the cooking capabilties of the kitchen which depends on bookings.

Monday – Friday:   Midday – 2.30pm & 6pm – 9pm

Saturday: Midday – 4pm & 5pm - 9pm

Sunday: 12noon– 4pm
